Cooperatives, agroecology and communication in Venezuela

From an agro-ecological alternative to capitalist globalization "Mountain snake" is about the productive and organizational processes of collective experiences in western rural Venezuela.Una critical look at the agricultural development model promoted by the Bolivarian government's land reform in rural cooperatives as a strategy for food sovereignty. In addition, the assessment of peasant self-management experience practicing agroecology 30 years ago, and part of a network of production and distribution of food to trav_ (c) s of urban food fairs. "Mountain snake" traces the history of Venezuelan rural shift (common denominator in the global rural population) and their resistance. In a context of media dictatorship corporate, community television is emerging as counter-fighting tool accompanying the rural life experiences.
